My story

Zhen Qingchuan, born in 1973, founder of The Psychology of Inner Perceptions, psychology counselor.
From 2002 to 2012, he lived in Penang and served as a health consultant of Malaysia Mavila Co., Ltd., a special consultant of Malaysia Intelligent Development Co., Ltd. The company was recruiting students worldwide, and the source of students came from nearly 20 countries and regions.
In 2011, Mr. Zhen Qingchuan went to Germany to participate at the International Prenatal and Perinatal Medical Psychology Society (ISPPM) Academic Annual Conference, and wrote the article “Prenatal and Postnatal Qi”.
He returned to China in 2012. After several years of deep research, “The Psychology of Inner Perceptions” was published in China in 2017. The translations in English, French and Spanish came soon and it was publish in Europe and the United States.
Since then Mr. Zhen Qingchuan has devoted himself to the promotion of The Psychology of Inner Perceptions. He taught knowledge of psychology in more than a dozen countries such as Australia, Germany, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Mexico, Sri Lanka, and Peru, Austria, Argentina bringing benefits to many people.
In 2016 he’s been invited by the Le Mans Cancer Treatment Center in France to introduce to oncologists his experience in healing in the oncology field. He wrote the article “Non-invasive treatment with qi and shen”.
In October 2020, he was appointed as a lecturer in psychology by Beijing International Youth Training Institute.
In 2023 and 2024, Mr. Zhen Qingchuan was employed successively at Gran Rasario University in Argentina and Ibero University in Mexico, to teach the Psychology of Inner Perceptions.

At the age of 22, having just graduated from Huaxia Institute in 1995, I began working at the Huaxia Health Recovery Center. I helped practitioners and students recover from their illnesses by guiding the practice and teaching the science of Zhineng Qigong.

After the Huaxia Centre closed, I settled in Penang, Malaysia in 2003, where I founded the Zhineng Development Centre to continue spreading the practice of Zhineng Qigong. After 10 years I left Malaysia but the centere is still running. Numerous international students learned Qigong or received Qi healing therapy and I soon realised the importance of spreading the methods and culture of Zhineng Qigong in the West. Since then I have been travelling all over the world.

Back in Beijing in 2012, I founded a Zhineng Qigong Center and together with Dr. Lily Liu wrote the book “Psychology of Inner Perceptions: A New Branch Originating from TCM”. This expounds the newly founded discipline for psychology and health recovery, including the main experiences and findings of my long career of teaching and practicing Zhineng Qigong. The book was first published in English in 2017, and has since been translated into Chinese, Spanish and French. I have also lectured at different international universities and specialized medical congresses.

After the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, I started a free online group for COVID-19 patients in March 2020. This group went on for 2 years with the aim to contribute the benefits of Zhineng Qigong practice for the recovery of physical and mental health.
